Sydney Sunset

Jonathon timed this perfectly. He told me we had to run a quick errand but actually took me to "our" park to watch the sunset. It was breathtaking!

Janette and Wayne had a great idea to go and
visit Jenolan Caves.

Of course, guess which tour we took!

Jonathon's Birthday Dinner

Since I couldn't get us into the very
swanky Banjo Patterson's for his
birthday dinner, I opted for another place
we have been wanting to try -
The Sicilian!

Jonathon enjoying his Oysters Kilpatrick.
They were not as good as Wayne's!

I am going to call this "Pasta Baby Food."
The pumpkin was pureed, the pasta overdone
and the sauce was merely "wet." It rated an absolute
ZERO on the flavor and presentation scale.

A sun-dried tomato salad

Jonathon's lamb shanks, AKA lamb jerky!

This celebration was a huge disappointment.
We had bad atmosphere, bad waiters, bad food, and were
serenaded by a screaming child and a bozo
banging his drum up and down the street.

I'll make it up to you next year Honey!

Phylactery

Jonathon dramatizing a
rather large phylactery.

Nora with Tina's Hair

Senora Nora wanted to see what she would look like with longer hair...Isn't she cute?!

Jonathon's Birthday Cake

Janette and Wayne brought Chocolate Chip
Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake for the birthday
boy.

After the near-house fire last year, we
opted for just a few candles on this year's
cake!

Kelly and Jason's Gift for Jonathon

The Tonna's gave Jonathon
a Bible from the 1800's.

Kelly sewed a cover for it,
which amazed me more than
the Bible! It's beautiful!

It has clippings in it from obituaries
of family members, pressed flowers
and amazing pictures. What JR
loves most are the handwritten
comments in it.

A birthday squeeze from Fajita.

JR's B-day Dinner with the Fletchers

JR opened his gift from Janette and Wayne.
It is a very old Bible. There is no date
of its printing, but there are handwritten
notes that date to 1917 inside!
Neat-o Bandito.

Jason and Kelly's Church

We got up SO early this morning to meet
Jason, Kelly and their FOUR kids for
church in Penrith, Australia

Fajita and me

I know half of you just fell out of your chair.
This is Phinlay MARIE. How can I not
adore a miniature who was named for me??

Don't be too surprised. I still can only handle
her in SMALL doses

Happy 4th of July!! We celebrated by going
to the drive in.

Norm and Paul

Tina Marie and Jonathon

The guys cleaned the windshields for us.

We had SO much fun, despite our poor
film choices! Both of them were less
than stellar.
