Jonkhoff's 11th Anniversary

Paul and Christina's 11th anniversary was tonight.

We celebrated with their favorite ice cream cake - peanut butter and chocolate paired with chocolate chip cookie dough.

Casting Crowns

It is such a treat for us when a Christian band comes to Australia. Tonight we saw CASTING CROWNS.

Castile

Our mission today was to go to Bondi to eat at Castile. It is a famous pizza joint that was absolutely positively worth the drive!


This is freshly mashed garlic for you to smear on your pizza. OH, IT'S TO DIE FOR!

Joshua ordered a meat frenzy something or other.

This was my vegetarian pizza with PUMPKIN on it. Aussies LOVE their pumpkin. It can be found in soup at nearly every restaurant, baked as a vegetable and even put into lasagna. Funny thing is you would be hard pressed to find a pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread here. These people just don't know what they're missing!

This was Jonathon's only complaint. The sodas are 250 ml. That is the equivalent of only ONE CUP. I think he ordered three of them. HA

We spent the afternoon shopping in Bondi with Joshua & Kay Lee today.

Le Cirque

It was our 19th wedding anniversary this year. YIKES! I can't believe it. I bought us tickets to see Le Cirque at the Opera House. Let's just say....they are not related in any capacity to Cirque du Soleil! What a huge disappointment.

Florence's 90th Birthday

90 years is DEFINITELY something to celebrate!

This is my neighbor Florence. She comes to the Bible study on Saturday nights.
