I minded Danielle's girls today.....but didn't mind it at all. They are sooooo cute. We had a wonderful time with PLAY-DOH. Are you ready for this? The dinosaur is actually MINE!

Tonight we celebrated the official start of Rob's job with NCIS at this Cajun restaurant. Hmmm, I wonder if he can introduce me to Michael Weatherly.

Rob was a little disappointed with the chicken wings (BARF!). It's one of the dishes he REALLY misses from home and hasn't been able to find a sufficient substitute in Sydney.

Kiwi Waffle 'n' Cones

What a FABULOUS discovery! We won't be able to visit Newcastle again without stopping by this ice cream joint.

I love waffles for breakfast, especially gingerbread waffles, but I'm not too keen on cones of any sort. I prefer my frozen refreshment in a cup.

I swear....that's not a beer bottle in my hand. It's sparkling mineral water. HONEST ENGINE!

We had such a nice day with Joel and Carol. We must do this again very soon.

We took Joel and Carol up to Newie (2 hours up the coast) to visit our friends at Calvary Chapel there.

We were headed to a famous burger joint but ended up at our favourite fish-n-chips place - Scotties! Joel and Carol are ordering from the barn door.

I ordered materials from Answers in Genesis to use when I teach the preschoolers at church. It was such a disappointment to see some of them had water damage.

It was our monthly lunch date today at Lake Parramatta Cafe. Kelly has been gallivanting the globe to Lisbon and Paris for a month, but we are back in routine once again.
