Eden's Birthday Cake

Jonathon wanted to experiment with fondant today. Since I had leftover frosting from Kelly's birthday cake, we made one for our little girl. We sure miss you Eden Lanay.

Kelly's Surprise Party

Jason invited all of Kelly's family and friends to surprise her at a park in Penrith for her 30th birthday. Notice the green grass and short sleeve shirts? It's WINTER here in Australia!

I haven't seen her smile for so many hours before. She had a GREAT day!

Calvary Chapel Sydney Youth Group

Ian asked Jonathon to teach at Calvary Chapel Sydney's youth group tonight - Romans 7. Maybe it was so Ian could concentrate on his ping pong. He's a MANIAC with that paddle in his hand!

We love hanging out with the teenagers.

Chantelle, Bianca and Issy

Rob, the Eagle's fan who hates the Cowboys. Oy vey!

Kelly's and Danielle's Birthday

Kelly is holding up her gluten-free birthday cake. Danielle's cupcakes were all about fat, carbs, and GLUTEN! HA

Lunch with Norm

Normalicious and I met for lunch at some place in Turramurra.

Although the food was great, I can't afford to eat here!

Mmmm, prawns in garlic

We shared a raspberry souffle. I am not sure why you would eat something for dessert that is not comprised of C H O C O L A T E! :)

Q-tips

Oh my stars, this is one of my most treasured possessions at the moment. I received a Sam's-size carton of Q-tips from the U.S. in our shipment.

There are 400 "cotton buds" on the left and 285 Q-tips on the right. Did you notice the boxes are nearly the same size??????

They only look comparable. There is heaps more cotton on a Q-tip.

I can bend a cotton bud stick rather easily becauae it is similar to a straw.

Q-tips on the other hand are very sturdy. Count it as a blessing if you can rock up to the shop and purchase a box of Q-tips at your leisure. I will be rationing my 600 to last until my next trip stateside.
