Thanksgiving
The Jonkhoffs invited us over for Thanksgiving this year. It was our first time celebrating the holiday since we have lived in Australia.

It's not Thanksgiving without the Cowboys. And we sure were "thankful" that they won!!

Stained Glass
Ang loves stained glass and hummingbirds. She sent this to me to remind me of a prayer request I gave her.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace. Romans 15:13

It hangs at eye level right over my kitchen sink. I am reminded every day of how much God and Ang love me. Now that really is GREAT comfort!

Eden's Mural
We are constantly amazed by the creativity of friends helping us heal over the loss of our baby girl. Kelly painted this mural in honour of Eden Lanay on one side of a building at her children's daycare centre.

Kelly painted Eden at 10 years old.

Soooo many people fell in love with our Eden Lanay. God continues to bless us with these wonderful reminders.

Creation Geology Walk
Creation Ministries International held a creation walk which was led by Dr. Tas Walker. He explained the massive 250 km wide delta known as the Sydney Basin and pointed out lots of geological evidence supporting a global flood. He's a very nice and knowledgeable man but also very boring!

Instead of paying attentio, I enjoyed the views (this one is from a golf course) and played with my camera.

A Christmas Carol

Since the Maori (native New Zealanders) cultural event was already booked (due to the bus of Japanese tourists no doubt : ), we opted to go to the cinema to see "A Christmas Carol." I didn't care for it. The graphics actually made me feel a wee bit queasy. If you're going to see it, I'd recommend the 3D version.
