Samuel's Baptism

Our friend Ian is a coffee roaster. He organized with his boss to let us have the cafe on Friday nights, once a month. We will have a devotion, music and games tonight. Woohoo!

Fondant Bunny

I made an Easter bunny in week seven of my class.

Oh my golly, she's so cute.

I just had to see what she would look like on the cake. Why would anyone want to eat fruitcake? Manitou Springs, CO, has a fruit cake launching competition every year after Christmas. IT'S AMMO PEOPLE!

Roller Coaster

Tonight was our first free night in the past 12 days. Whereas I plopped in front of the TV to recharge my batteries, Jonathon decided to build another roller coaster. The faster he manages to erect these suckers, the less impressed I am with the cost vs hours-of-fun ratio. He had this one spinning in less than 90 minutes!

Max Brenner

There is NO WAY we could be next door to Max Brenner and not pop in for an hour.

It was Hug Mugs all around. Mmmmm

I think they invite me because I always have dice in my purse to play Farkle at a moment's notice! : D

Red Spoon

Because I was drumming for Calvary Chapel Sydney this morning, we got to have lunch with friends from CCS today.

We went to the Red Spoon in Castle Hill. YUM! Not only was the food faaaabulous, but I fell in love with this water pitcher. Anyone know where I can buy one?

Wendy's Bridal Shower

Bridal Shower Cupcakes

These are applesauce spice cupcakes that I made for Wendy's bridal shower today.

All of my creations survived in my new cupcake carrier. I need to get another one of these.

The Cake for Class

I finally got to attach my flower spray to my cake.

One thing I learned...always cut your fingernails before working with fondant!

Petal Paste Rosebuds

I learned how to apply a calyx to the bottom of my rosebud.

It sure makes it look more realistic.

I painted my buds with petal dust.


They are all PINK for our baby girls.
