It's Coming.......

Do you know what this is?

Oh, be still my heart! All I can think about is that Mervyn's commercial from years ago: "Open, open, open."

Selah's First Heavenly Birthday

Jonathon wouldn't tell me where he was taking me. He surprised me with dinner at a restaurant called Selah's on our beloved Selah's first heavenly birthday.

Dinner was very froufrou but DEEEElicious.

After dinner, we strolled the Harbour Bridge and Opera House for a long time. The night was PERFECT....just like our sweet baby girl is today.

Bean Drinking?

I thought this was a cute name for a coffee roaster. I wouldn't order a weak hot chocolate in here again. I got a takeaway cup of hot milk. Ewwwww

Grill'd

We finally tried the Grill'd in Crows Nest today. Two burgers, one order of fries, two mineral waters = $38. YIKES, but very yummy!

Sugar Paste Class - Week 2

Tonight we learned how to make roses using petal paste. My instructor said that these are beautiful to look at but you wouldn't want to eat one because they taste gross. Hmmmm, why would you put something that tastes yucky on top of a CAKE?

I need to buy some petal paste before I forget how to create these roses. They are very time consuming but a whole lotta' fun to make.

Blue Tongue Lizard

Eeeeeeew

It's illegal to kill a blue tongue, so why is it fair that he can scare ME to death?

If you ask me, he looks evil.

Jaime scored on the fishing challenge.

Me and Jazmin, my only Peruvian friend.

Ian is not only my very good friend, but he is the youth pastor and worship leader for CCS.
